Katowice international bus station Sadowa Interchange
Katowice’s origins and growth are owed to industrialisation and the construction of its railway station in the 19th century. Transport plays an important role here to this day, and this is borne out in investment into new infrastructure projects in the city. The new building at Katowice bus station, Sadowa Interchange, was created to serve international and domestic long-distance buses, as well as to extend the area of the building for personal transport. It features covered bus stops filled with Miela benches, covered Regio Velo bicycle shelters, and Regio bus shelters. Alongside serving travellers, the building has a commercial and service function – here you will discover kiosks, bistros and a ticket office, as well as a waiting room for travellers and a private room for drivers. Thanks to an enjoyable partnership with building firm Budimex, we were able to fully integrate our street furniture into the project, and offer new solutions in the form of our shelters. Bringing them to the heart of Katowice was an honour for us.
