Logroño comes to life with the Concéntrico festival and mmcité products

April 2024

The international festival of architecture and design kicks off in the Spanish city of Logrono on April 25th and runs until May 1st. It invites you to explore the city through installations and minor interventions that disrupt the stereotypical perception of the streets we walk through every day.

The Orbit collection is part of the project Ten-Year Street, which will bring installations to the city until 2034. The entire project is an intervention in urban development, using a 10-year timeframe to embed mechanisms of care, change, and diversity in public spaces among city residents.

On April 30th at 11:00, David Karásek, owner and chief designer of mmcité, will speak about a 30-year journey through public spaces, the future of streets, and the role of design that plays a crucial role in cities.

We also interviewed festival director Javier Peña Ibáñez. We talked not only about what the street will look like in 10 years but also about who or what drives changes in public life.
