Los Angeles is not only the home to the Oscars, but also to the equally famous architecture and design awards – including the Architecture MasterPrize, a global architecture award that has been recognising design excellence since 2007 in four categories: Design of the Year, Architectural Firm of the Year, Architectural Products of the Year and Architecture Photography MasterPrize, with the honourees being selected by an international jury panel comprised of top architects, interior designers, curators, journalists, architecture photographers and academics who help shape the future of design.
We are delighted with this year’s results which are a real testament to our work:
The Products / Outdoor Products category was won by our Lago bench, with Reforma bench and Polys modular system of flowerpots receiving an honourable mention.
We are also very pleased to be part of architectural buildings that are not only beautiful and famous, but also recognised by experts, as is the case of the House of Music Budapest designed by Sou Fujimoto Architects that received the Best of Best title. Our benches and bicycle stands can also be seen at Sky Park Bratislava designed by Zaha Hadid Architects awarded for the conversion of Jurkovič Heating Plant National Cultural Monument.
