Pier 97, located in Hell’s Kitchen, New York, is a 2.5-acre public park developed by the Hudson River Park Trust, with a total budget of approximately $47.5 million. Designed by the landscape architecture firm!melk, the park officially opened in October 2024.
The park offers a range of amenities, including a 120-foot-long synthetic turf athletic field, a 26-foot-high rope climbing structure, a ship’s hull, a sloping sun lawn, and a sunset deck with sweeping views of the Hudson River. Prominently featured on the sunset deck are the Rivage loungers, alongside Blocq benches and ADA-compliant Blocq picnic sets, strategically placed throughout the park. These carefully selected site furnishings, along with the park’s thoughtful design, embody the Trust's commitment to crafting accessible, engaging public spaces that enrich the urban landscape.
