Hagavägen in Borlänge, the area where you find Tyra’s square, is an area of the city being rebuilt to make it easier, more pleasant and safer for pedestrians and cyclists to move along the street. The goal is to create a more urban feel through greater space for meetings and movement. The work will take place in stages between 2019 and 2021 and the redevelopment will mean that motorists, pedestrians and cyclists get along better on the surfaces.
Hagavägen is an important central link. To the south, it connects the center with a public transport hub and other services with the sports field, Maserhallen, and Maserskolan as well as residential areas to the north. Along Hagavägen there are also residentials, in a blend with restaurants and shopping facilities.
